Terms and Conditions
General Terms and Conditions for Language Courses
1. Registration and Contract Conclusion
Registration for a language course is done in writing or electronically (e.g., via email or online form) and is binding. A binding contract is concluded upon confirmation of registration by the course provider.
2. Payment Terms
The course fee must be paid in full before the course begins. Participation in the course is only possible after timely receipt of payment. The prices stated at registration apply.
3. Withdrawal by Participant
Withdrawal is possible free of charge up to 14 calendar days before the course begins. In case of later withdrawal or no-show, the full course fee is due. Providing a substitute person is possible after prior arrangement.
4. Cancellation by Provider / Minimum Number of Participants
If fewer than 8 participants register for a group course, we reserve the right to cancel the course. In this case, the course fee already paid will be fully refunded. No further claims exist.
5. Class Cancellation
In case of cancellation of individual classes due to teacher illness or technical issues, we strive to provide a replacement date promptly. If this is not possible, the affected class will be rescheduled or partially refunded.
6. Online Classes
The course takes place online. Successful participation requires a stable internet connection, a suitable device (laptop, PC, or tablet), and possibly a headset. Participants are responsible for their technical equipment.
7. Copyright and Recordings
The materials used in the course are protected by copyright and may not be shared or published without explicit consent. Audio or video recordings of the class by participants are not allowed.
8. Data Protection
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our privacy policy. By registering, you agree to the storage and processing of your data for the purpose of course management.
9. Liability
The provider is not liable for damages caused by technical failures, force majeure, or improper use of platforms by participants. Liability for consequential damages is excluded.
10. Jurisdiction
For all legal disputes, the location of the course provider is considered the place of jurisdiction, as far as legally permissible.
